Katleho Limakatso, PhD

Dr. Katleho Limakatso (PhD) is a lecturer and clinical researcher at the University of Cape Town. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy, Postgraduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Pain Management, Masters in Pain, and a PhD in Anaesthesia. He has a special interest in the study and management of chronic post-surgical pain, particularly phantom limb pain in people with amputations. He is recognised as an emerging researcher in the field of pain, serving as a regular speaker at national and international conferences. He has published over 10 peer-reviewed journal articles as a first author in the last five years. He actively collaborates with pain scientists from various parts of the world, including Australia, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
