Dr. Gagne-Henderson has 28 years of experience in hospice and palliative care as a nurse, APRN, Educator and Director. She obtained her PhD in palliative care from the International Observatory on End-of-Life Care at Lancaster University in the UK. She is founder and director of the Connecticut Hospice and Palliative Care Organization She is a published researcher in the area of end-of-life care regarding the frail elderly and how meaning is found in dying.
