Keystone Health Reports Data Breach

Pennsylvania-based healthcare provider Keystone Health reports a data breach in which the patients' information was exposed.

Keystone identified a security incident that disrupted its computer systems on August 19, 2022. The investigation later revealed that an unauthorized party accessed files within the Keystone Health system between July 28, 2022, and August 19, 2022,

“Some of those files contained patient information, including names, Social Security numbers, and clinical information,” according to the notice released by the company.

Keystone says it is mailing letters to affected patients and offering credit monitoring services to those who are eligible. The company is also implementing new network security measures and providing additional training to its employees.
