Trader Joe's recall of crackers comes after the grocery supplier was alerted about possible metal contamination.
Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds (SKU# 76156) with Best If Used By dates 03/01/24 to 03/05/24 may have been affected.
Trader Joe's warns against eating the potentially contaminated crackers and urges customers to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.
The company says no injuries have been reported to date, and all potentially affected products have been removed from sale and destroyed.
This is the fourth Trader Joe's recall in recent weeks. Last month, the company alerted its customers that a falafel product and two varieties of cookies may contain rocks, while broccoli cheddar soup was recalled due to the potential contamination with insects.
Trader Joe's says it has a close relationship with its vendors and proactively addresses issues.
The company's website says: "We voluntarily take action quickly, aggressively investigating potential problems and removing the product from sale if there is any doubt about its safety or quality."
